Reset your password

If you have forgotten your password, you can request a reset link from the sign in screen.

  1. Go to the MatStream sign in page and enter your email address.
  2. Click Next to proceed to the password screen.
  3. Click Forgot password? below the sign in button.
  4. Your email address is pre-filled. Click Send Reset Link.
  5. MatStream sends a reset email to your address. The page confirms this with a success message.

Note

For security reasons, MatStream shows the same success message whether or not the email address exists in the system. This prevents exposing which addresses are registered.

Setting a new password

  1. Open the reset email from MatStream <noreply@matstream.com>.
  2. Click Reset password.
  3. Enter your new password and confirm it.
  4. Click Reset Password.
  5. MatStream confirms the change and redirects you to the sign in page after a few seconds.

Password requirements

MatStream requires passwords to meet the following rules:

  • At least 8 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter (A–Z)
  • At least one lowercase letter (a–z)
  • At least one number (0–9)
  • At least one special character (e.g. !, @, #, $)

The reset link in the email is valid for 1 hour. If the link has expired, go back to the sign in screen and request a new one.

Each reset link can only be used once. After you set a new password, the link becomes invalid.

Changing your password when signed in

If you are already signed in and want to change your password:

  1. Click your profile or account settings
  2. Navigate to Change Password
  3. Enter your current password, then your new password twice
  4. Click Change Password

The same password complexity rules apply.
