Collaborate

The Collaborate page provides a structured view of your external collaboration relationships — customers, suppliers, and other third parties. It is designed to help teams track and manage cross-organisational interactions within MatStream.

Feature status

The Collaborate page is currently in early development. The structure and navigation are in place; full data integration is being built in upcoming releases.

Accessing Collaborate

Navigate to Collaborate from the main workspace navigation bar.

Collaboration structure

The left panel shows a tree with three top-level categories:

Node Purpose
Clients Customers or external parties you deliver work to
Suppliers Vendors and sub-contractors you source from
Third Parties Other external organisations (regulators, certification bodies, partners)

Expand a node to see individual partners within that category. Select a partner to see their details in the right panel.

What's coming

Planned capabilities for the Collaborate feature:

  • Link entities, BOMs, and documents to specific collaboration partners
  • Share selected entity data externally with controlled visibility
  • Track status of shared items (e.g. "sent to supplier for quote", "awaiting approval")
  • Audit trail of cross-organisation data exchanges
